Below are some of my favourite work experiences so far!

Challenge: ASICS and Namshi wanted a co-branded Emirati Women’s Day event, and we had under two weeks to build it from nothing.
Role & Approach: Marketing Intern. I owned the moving parts: venue, branding, gifting and influencer seeding. We kept it invite-only and curated so that every guest left with something worth posting.
Execution: Hosted 150+ guests at Kulture House Café in Jumeirah and handled the guest list and PR on the night. Afterwards, I turned the event into campaign content for Namshi’s 2M+ followers.
Results: 150+ guests, a full gifting and seeding rollout, and a night’s worth of content for an audience of 2M+.
Key Takeaway: Two weeks is plenty if every task has an owner. My job was making sure nothing fell through the cracks.

Challenge: Help shape Flaunt’s December print issue, from first concept to photoshoot, while keeping brand partners happy.
Role & Approach: Editorial Intern. I pitch ideas for the winter issue and digital features, and check them against what our brand partners need before they go further.
Execution: I assist on location at photoshoots, write digital copy for the launch, and support social strategy and community engagement for Flaunt’s global clients.
Results: The issue comes out in December, and I’ll share the finished pages here once it does. Until then, link a digital feature you’ve worked on.
Key Takeaway: With editors, photographers and brands all involved, the best idea is the one everyone can say yes to.

Challenge: Keep UCLA sounding like UCLA across Facebook, X, Threads and LinkedIn, for 2.2M+ followers who each want something different.
Role & Approach: Copywriter & Content Strategist. I worked with the newsroom and creative teams to turn campus stories into posts, rewriting each one for its platform. I also led a student team and reached out to brands for campus sponsorships.
Execution: Ran the year-long content calendar and checked every day what people were saying about UCLA online, replying in real time. Secured sponsors for Finals Week Matcha Day and puppy yoga.
Results: Total social following grew 9.3%, and engagement rate rose 2.1%.
Key Takeaway: Posting the right thing today beats posting the perfect thing next week.

Challenge: Build buzz for KimChi Chic Beauty’s launch at Ulta Beauty before a single product hit the shelves.
Role & Approach: PR Intern. A launch box has to stop the scroll on its own, so we made the product the story, with custom pink kimchi in every mailer.
Execution: Designed and packed PR mailers for 80+ influencers. I found the right creators by managing 300+ influencer profiles on MuckRack and IMDb Pro, and helped with shoots and branding assets.
Results: Engagement up 25% across 3+ lifestyle campaigns, including this one, and campaign reach expanded to 500K+ followers. I tracked the coverage and wrote the performance reports.
Key Takeaway: Weird, on-brand ideas get noticed. If people stop scrolling, the rest falls into place.

Challenge: Find brand partners that actually fit each artist on our roster, and land deals that worked for both sides.
Role & Approach: Branding & Client Relations Intern. I researched prospects to find 20+ high-fit partnerships each cycle, looking for brands whose audience and image matched the artist’s.
Execution: Pitched talent to brands like Nike, Loewe and Shein, and negotiated deliverables, usage rights and pay with agents and managers. I drafted press releases, contracts and deal memos, and coordinated talent on set at shoots.
Results: 20+ high-fit partnership opportunities identified every cycle, each taken from first pitch through to contract and the shoot.
Key Takeaway: Negotiations get messy fast. Keeping everyone focused on what both sides wanted is what got deals closed.

Challenge: L’Oréal asked us to reimagine luxury fragrance using AI and emerging tech.
Role & Approach: Team Lead, Brand Strategy. I led a 3-person team across time zones. We created Lamha for Prada, an AI-powered bespoke fragrance built around emotional memory mapping, because the scents people love are usually tied to a memory.
Execution: Ran primary and secondary market research, then tested the concept with UCLA Anderson faculty before building our final pitch.
Results: Reached the L’Oréal Brandstorm Regional
Finals with Lamha.
Key Takeaway: Don’t fall in love with your first idea. Stress-test it, change it, then fall in love.
“Very creative and diligent.”
“Aditi is super fast paced and a quick learner. Loved having her on the team!”
“Always on time and the quality of work was never disappointing.”

What makes them click, cringe or double-tap at 2 AM?
Brandstorm: our research showed that people pick a scent
for the memory it brings back, not the notes. That insight
became Lamha.

Strip it down to the one thing nobody can ignore.
KimChi Chic: the name was the hook, so every PR mailer
came with pink kimchi.

Throw everything at the wall, then keep what sticks.
Namshi: we went from blank page to a 150-guest ASICS event
in under two weeks.

Kill your darlings and don’t take it personally.
Brandstorm: we stress-tested Lamha with UCLA Anderson
faculty, reworked it, and reached the Regional Finals.

If it can’t be measured, it’s a guess.
UCLA: I tracked what our audience responded to, and the
following grew 9.3%. Michele Marie: I wrote the reports
behind a 25% engagement lift.

Interned at five places in
two years, including one
in Dubai. My calendar has
a calendar.
I went from “what’s
MuckRack?” to managing
300+ influencer profiles
on it. Teach me once and
I’ll probably make you a
template.
I pitched Prada a
perfume that reads
your memories.
Your brief is in safe
hands.
I’ll have a plan
before you finish
asking. I’ll still let
you finish, though.
I thrift, style, sketch
and shoot for fun.
Marketing is just the
part I get paid for.
I’m a Business Econ
major, so I don’t stop
at “it looked cute.” I
check whether it
moved the numbers.
